Attendance

Daily attendance is a key factor in student success in the middle school. Please try to have your child in school on time every day. If they must miss school, please contact the school the morning of the absence (807-3716).

Written Excuses & Making Up Work
When your child returns to school, a written excuse must be turned into the homeroom teacher. Upon return, your child also needs to see each teacher to discuss work missed or arrange a time to take any missed quizzes, tests or laboratory activities. A good time to do this is during homeroom. Many teachers also arrange a “While You Were Gone” area in the classroom to obtain work from absences.
